About Acco Guesthouse

Acco Guesthouse offers guests an excellent opportunity to stay in the centre of Akureyri, with all major amenities and attractions within walking distance.

The guesthouse has basic, comfortable and clean rooms, some have private bathroom facilities while others share. Bed linens and towels are provided.

Acco Guesthouse is a self-check-in accommodation and you will be provided with check-in instructions after booking along with information about parking, which is provided free of charge.

Excellent location

Ideally located in the downtown of Akureyri and there are shops, restaurants, cafés and bars within short walking distances. Hof Cultural centre is located within 5-minutes and the Akureyri Swimming pool is 10-minutes away by foot.

Clean and modern facilities

All the rooms in Acco Guesthouse have access to a shared, fully-equipped kitchen which you can use to prepare meals or have a chat with other guests. The bathroom has a shower. There is good free WiFi. A few rooms have a private bathroom.

Double / Twin room w. private bathroom

Basic and clean rooms with a private bathroom. The rooms are around 12 square meters and either has a double bed or two single beds. Access to shared kitchen facilities and free Wifi is available throughout the property. Breakfast is not included but can be enjoyed in Café Berlin, a small breakfast café, located downstairs of the guesthouse. Acco guests get 10% in Café Berlin.

With all the check-in details received in advance, we could check in anytime. It’s very close to the harbour, parking 24 hours for free is possible at the nearby concert hall “Hof”. Godafoss, Namaskard and Dettifoss can be explored by car in a day trip from here. Kitchen has all you need. All is clean. Good pub round the corner.

The location is phenomenal in the amazing northern capital of Akureyri. The shower has great water pressure and the beds are comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The cafe downstairs, Berlin, was delicious!
